Faculty member's translation spurs conversations around the world
Congratulations to Dr. Patricia Schiaffini-Vedani for her recent book Enticement (SUNY Press), a translation of short stories by Tibetan writer Pema Tseden. The book has been chosen to open a series of informal discussions on Tibetan culture around the world. These informal gatherings were organized by Machik, an NGO devoted to Tibetan issues and culture.
