Chinese-language student accepted in the prestigious 2021 Harvard University's International Intensive Program on Buddhist Studies

Chinese-language student Genevieve Hauer has been accepted to Harvard University's prestigious International Intensive Program on Buddhist Studies. Genevieve is an aspiring academic in the field of Chinese Buddhism and her current research involves tales of returners from Buddhist Hell and the impact these stories, especially in collaboration with the performing arts, have on Chinese society. A mastery of Chinese is integral to her research.
